Recipe's preparation

    Meatloaf
  1. Pre heat oven to 180 Fan Forced.

Tear bread up into TM bowl, 5-10 seconds, Speed 5. Place into a med sized bowl set aside.

Chop carrot, celery and garlic 5-8 seconds, Speed 5. Add to breadcrumbs.

Chop mushrooms, zucchini 4-6 seconds, Speed 5. Add to other chopped ingredients.

Chop cheese cransky and beef chunks, speed 6, 4 seconds.

Add chopped ingredients back into TM bowl, also adding the cheese, eggs, salt and pepper. Speed 2 for 1-2 mins, until combined.

Meanwhile mix in a small bowl, all ingredients for the Centre.

On a lined oven tray, use half of the mix to create the base, whatever shape you like. Make a shallow channel in the middle and evenly fill with the mix for the Centre, then cover over completely with remaining meatloaf mix.

Mix tomato sauce and honey in a small cup or bowl, then pour evenly over meatloaf to cover.

Place in moderate oven for 30-35 mins and ENJOY!

All times for chopping can be varied to the individual's liking.

Tip

Most of this recipe is by eye, so follow steps, but if chopping isn't fine enough, prolong time by a few seconds.

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
