Hey Bobbieboy. I forgot to mention that I don't add the full amount of salt to my stock (only 50g instead of 150g) so that may have been the difference. It usually doesn't matter but when using so much I can see that it would.I have made this a few time since and agree the last 25 mins on reverse works better. For some reason the first time it didn't mince up too much, but the 2nd time it definitely did.
Sandy86, I've never had an issue with the vegies fitting. Maybe I am using smaller vegies. And yes it needs a little help to stir, I just use the spatula every so often to help mix it up.
There was a LOT of veggies and I had to do them a batch at a time, I took them out to cook the mince for the first 5 mins then added them with everything else for the 25 minutes. It didn't stir very well so I put it on reverse speed 3 to mix around a little more then down to speed 2. It turned out quite watery but I think that was because my veggies were so finely chopped.
Quite nice but a bit salty. Maybe a little less stock. Also the mince ended up too minced. Maybe the last 25 mins would be best mixed with the blade in reverse.
