Ingredients

  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 stick Celery
  • 1 onion, peeled and halved
  • 1 sprig Thyme, leaves only
  • 1 sprig rosemary, leaves only
  • 400 grams tomato soup, can
  • 100 grams water
  • 5 gram Worcester Sauce
  • 100 grams frozen peas
  • 500 grams Beef mince
  • 500 grams potatoes, unpeeled and cut into small pieces
  • 30 grams Butter
  • 30 grams cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 30 grams olive oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.  Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic to Closed lid"Closed lid" . Chop for 3 sec/speed 6/ MC on

  2. 2.  Add oil and cook for 5 mins/100 degrees/ speed 1/ MC off

  3. 3.  Add thyme, rosemary, tomato soup, water, worcester sauce to Closed lid"Closed lid"

  4. 4.  Insert simmering basket and put the mince inside the simmering basket.

  5. 5.  Put your deep varoma in place with potatoes inside.  Cook for 20 mins/varoma/speed 3.  Break mince up with spoon halfway through cooking.

  6. 6.  Place the mince only in the baking dish and preheat oven to 200C. Then continue to cook the sauce in the bowl and potatoes in varoma for a further 5 mins/varoma/speed 3. Then mix sauce with mince and add peas.

  7. 7.  Rince the Closed lid"Closed lid" and put your potatoes into the bowl with butter, cream, salt and pepper and mash for 4 sec/speed 4/MC on

  8. 8.  Top mince with potatoe mixture and bake in an oven for 20 mins or until golden brown.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
