Place all sauce ingredients in thermo bowl and mix on speed 2-3 for 5 seconds. Set aside
Place onion and garlic in thermo bowl and dice on speed 7 for 5-10 seconds. Scrape down sides and repeat if necessary.
Add next 7 ingredients and mix on "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2-3 for 60 seconds. You may need to use the spatula to aid in the mixing. Remove from bowl and shape into 8 equal sized balls.
Roll in cous cous and cook on a grill or in a pan until golden.
Assemble burgers with salad and sauce.

Tip
If you do not have Harissa paste, then you can substitute it with equal portions of tomato paste and 1 1/2 tsp of Harissa spice. (If I am using homemade tomato paste that I have frozen in ice cubes, then I add them with the onions and garlic at step 1).
The sauce is not essential for the success of these burgers. They taste equally delicious with a salad and tomato sauce.
These patties freeze well. If you do not want to use all the patties, then freeze them before cooking.
This is a friend's recipe that I used regularly for some years and have now adapted to the Thermo. My kids love them. I hope you enjoy.
