Twice Cooked Asian Style Pork Belly
- 1500 g water
- 700-1200 g Pork Belly
- 80 g soy sauce
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp sugar or alt eg honey
- 1000 g mixed asian style veg
- 3 pieces star anise
- 3 tbsp salt

- 1. 1500g water in bowl
2. Dry the pork with paper towel, rub with oil and salt
3. Pop the pork belly on varoma tray 99mins/varoma/spd2
4. After the first 99mins top up water to a total of 1000g
5. Put back on for another 30mins/varoma/spd2
6.Preheat oven to 220deg
7.When finished pat dry with more paper towel and oil and salt again, pop into oven 1 hr
8. Put star anise, cinnamon and sugar in bowl with leftover soy sauce water
9. Pop any veg you like into varoma and steam (time will depend on what veg you have) 20mins/varoma/spd 2,
10. Ensure the sauce has reduced in the bowl and strain using simmering basket.
11. If not completly reduced pop back on until it is.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
