  • 1cup white quiona
  • 2tbs olive oil
  • 2 Brown onion peeled
  • 1/4 cup curry leaves
  • 4 cardomaon pods bruised
  • 1 cinnamon sticks (snapped in half)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 small bunch coriander
  • 1/3 cup tst flaked almonds
  • 1tbs vegtable stock

Recipe's preparation

  1. chop onions 3seconds/speed4 scrape down add olive oil and curry leaves and cook 10mins/veroma/speed 1/no mc

     

    add cardomon,cinnamon stick,and well rinsed quiona,cook 2mins/100/rev/speed1

     

    add water/ 1tbs veggie stock/ and cook 4mins/100/speed1/rev

    then lower heat to 90 and cook for a further 30mins/speed1/rev approx till quiona cooked it was fairly wet mix,i took the mc off for last 10mins but keep eye on it.

     

    then put into thermosever and stir througn frozen peas leave for 5mins then sprinkle with coriander and before serving sprinkle with tst almonds

Tip

I served with chicken tikka recipe for tikka paste is in indian cookbook

I marinated chicken in paste then fried in nonstick pan and added 2tbs coconut cream to make sauce tmrc_emoticons.) pictured above
