Potato quinoa patties - vegan

  • 3 potatoes
  • 250 g quinoa
  • 0.7 litre water
  • 0.5 onion
  • 0.5 bunch coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin

Recipe's preparation

  1. Boil and mash potatoes as per thermomix directions. Set aside.
  2. Cook quinoa. Rinse quinoa 3 to 4 times using non thermomix strainer. Soak for 15 minutes if time permits. Add water to the TM bowl. Pour quinoa into simmer basket and place into bowl.
    Cook on varoma temp, 18 minutes, speed 3. Place in thermoserver.
  3. Clean & dry the bowl. All ingredients to the TM bowl. Mix well - speed 4 for 10 secs. Shape into patties and pan fry with a little oil until golden. Serve as preferred.
