    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Delicious and easy. I used 300ml light cream and 300ml milk. Tasty and I'll be making it again. Serves 4. I wonder if you can double the recipe?

This is an excellent recipe which we much enjoy. However, there were just a few modifications which I would suggest.

    1. The 4 portions designation needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. For us, we had two adequate portions with just enough left for one portion to be taken to work for lunch the following day. It really does depend on your appetite.

    2. We are a garlic loving household and found 4 cloves, not enough. I actually use 5 large cloves in this recipe.

    3. Parmesan is too strident in flavour (not to say expensive) to add as the main ingredient. I now use grated cheddar and serve parmesan as a sprinkling condiment.

    4. I find the best cream to use is Meander Valley Double from Tasmania. This is the closest to UK clotted cream (even the clotted cream occasionally available in Woolworths isn't as close a match as Meander Valley).

    5. At step 9, the time is not enough to thicken the sauce sufficiently. I complete this step, add the cheese and parsley as in step 10 and then repeat step 9.

    6. I do not bother with the breadcrumbs. Instead, I sprinkle extra grated cheddar over the top. I then bake in the oven at 180c for 20 minutes (otherwise just grilling leaves the dish too lukewarm) and then put under the grill to brown off, making sure that the bake is still bubbling hot as I serve.

This tastes amazing & is quick & easy. Did need to pop in the oven once constructed because the chicken & pasta cooled too much before the sauce was ready. Quick grill afterwards & all the family impressed. Started by grating cheese & set aside for later.
