Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Oh my the best Mac ever, and best one that I've ever made. I fried spring onions and bacon. Baked in the oven for 20 and will brown off the top and sprinkle cheese on top. Delicious and I know my fam will inhale it. 😋... definitely a saved favourite now.
Best Mac and cheese ever. Huge hit with the kids.
This was so good and so simple! I can't believe there isn't a recent comment.
I looked at the cookidoo recipes and they were all fiddly, I just wanted a basic recipe I could add ham to (which I did at the very end when mixing the sauce and pasta together).
I was so suprised at how good that sauce is, I kind of expected it to be doughy/floury because I've only ever made white sauce by hand where you melt the butter, cook off the flour etc, but it is fantastic!
10/10!
Big winner in my house
Easy midweek dinner. Kids loved it. I added some leftover bbq chicken and plenty of green veggies.
Easy and delicious. Added half tsp Dijon as that’s all I had. Tasted great.
Great recipe! I had no parmesan left and even without it the taste was amazing!
Just made this for dinner for myself and my 2 year old. She hasn't ever really eaten macaroni and cheese, but when shes been served pasta other then spagetti she has turned her nose up at it. Well this time, I used penne (only pasta I had in the cupboard) and she ate everything in her bowl! Will definetly be using this recipe again!
My family really enjoyed this and it’s so quick to make.
Excellent!!
