- 1000 g water
- 1 level tsp salt
- 1-2 pinches ground turmeric
- .25 tsp ground cinnamon
- 20 g Salted butter

- Place simmering basket onto mixing bowl lid and weigh rice into it. Wash basmati rice well until water run clear and transfer rice into mixing bowl.
- Add water, salt, turmeric and cinnamon into mixing bowl and start rice mode. Place simmering basket on mixing bowl lid.
- Transfer into thermoserver or another bowl and add butter stir through and serve warm.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
