- 5 pinches sea salt
- 1 vanilla pod, split and seeds scaped out

Add all ingredients into the TM bowl and cook 12 minutes VAROMA temperature, SPEED 2.
Sterilse your jars by adding boling water and let dry
Pour into sterile jars and seal when coll/cold. Caramel will thicken on cooling.
If you prefer a thicker caramel, cook for a further 5 minutes.

Tip
For a richer caramel flavour and darker sauce, substitute half the raw sugar with brown sugar or dark brown sugar

I made this for Christmas presents. I would cut back on the salt a bit as it's very salty.
Yum! Easy and delicious! I cooked for the extra 5 minutes and made sure the condensation from the lid and measuring cup didn't fall back into the mix when I checked the sauce.

Nene, in the fridge I would say quite a while... its butter and the cream is cooked. We have never had to worry as it is used within a week or so.
