Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce
- 250 g ketchup, of choice
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, or coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons honey, not clover
- 1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 3/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, optional

- Add aal ingredients to the TM6 bowl, place lid on and remove MC - place simmering basket on in place of MC and cook 20 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 2.
Transfer to sterilized jar or bottle, cool completely before sealing with lid, keep in fridge, consume within one week.
Tips: Great for marinating chicken or having as a side.
To make the sauce spicier add chilli flakes or extra cayenne pepper to reach desired heat.
Hawaiian style: add 1/4 cup of pineapple juice to the sauce before cooking.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
