Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar, Liquid
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts, unsalted
  • 4 birds eye chillies
  • 4 Small garlic cloves
  • 4 Snake beans
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon dried shrimp
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 180 g Green papaya, shredded
  • 20 g carrot, shredded

Recipe's preparation

    Instructions
  1. Place peanuts in dry bowl and dry roast for 5 minutes/Varoma/speed one and then Crush speed 5/ 1 second - set aside

  2. If not able to source liquid palm sugar put one tablespoon in bowl and grate speed 10/10 seconds - set aside

  3. Place peeled garlic and birds eye chillies (remove seeds first if want less heat) into bowl and process speed 7/2 seconds

  4. Cut tomato in half and add to bowl, chop speed 3/1 second

  5. Place palm sugar, lime juice, fish sauce and snake beans into bowl and combine 10 seconds/reverse/speed 2

  6. Add dried shrimp, papaya, carrot and mix 10 seconds/reverse/speed 1

  7. Tip into bowl and top with crushed peanuts.

Tip

I couldnt source dried shrimp so I used 1/4 tspn of shrimp paste and 2 tbspn of dry fried onion.

    4 chilis was too much, and I took out the seeds! Flavour was spot on though. Have made this recipe twice now. I used 1 chili with seeds second time around and it was yum and still had a bit of heat. Obviously depends on personal taste though.
