Ingredients

  • 1 onion brown, medium, cut into quarters
  • 1 Capsicum, red, cut into quarters
  • 1 bacon, rasher, sliced
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 1 carrot, medium, not peeled, cut into small lengths
  • 1 tbsp Chicken stock concentrate, (rrom EDC)
  • 1.1 litres water
  • 400 g cannellini beans, canned, drained and rinsed

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put the onion, capsicum and the bacon into the TM bowl and chop 3 seconds on speed 4.

  2. Add the oil and sauté for 2 minutes at 100 C on speed 1.

  3. Add the carrot and chop 5 seconds on speed 4.

  4. Add the water and the stock and cook for 15 minutes at 100 C on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" and Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .

  5. Then add the beans and cook a further 5 minutes at 100 C on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" and Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .

Tip

Cannellini beans can be replaced with a tin of baked beans leaving some of the tomato sauce for extra flavour.
