Ingredients

  • 2-3 pieces Osso Bucco
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 leek
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1/2 celery stalk, diced
  • 1 tomato, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 litre TM Beef Stock or TM Veg Stock
  • 100 gram Mini pasta shells or pasta of choice

Recipe's preparation

  1. Brown Osso Bucco pieces in a heavy based frying pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.  Set aside.

    2. Place garlic, leek and olive oil in TM bowl and chop for 4 seconds on speed 6.

    3. Add celery and carrot and saute for 5 minutes on Varoma temperature, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , speed 1

    4. Strip meat from bone and add to TM bowl along with sauted ingredients, stock, tomato, paprika and cook for 20 minutes at 100C Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"

    5. Add pasta and cook for a further 10 minutes at 100C, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"  Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .  Broccoli can be added with 2 minutes cooking time remaining.

    Serve with freshly baked bread rolls

    A Hearty Winter Soup

    A great, easy and tasty soup. I was a bit confused when it instructed me to add the broccoli when broccoli wasn't even mentioned in the ingredients' list. I had some and did add it but I don't think it needs it and might leave it out next time.
    Everyone in my family enjoyed this soup along with some crusty homemade baguettes.
