Ingredients
Pumpkin and Chickpea Soup
- 500 grams pumpkin, cut into 2cm cubes
- 1 Small brown onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 package chicken noodle soup mix
- 2 tablespoons Thermomix stock paste
- 20 grams olive oil
- 20 grams Butter
- 800 grams water
- 1 can chick peas
- 1 sprig parsley, to garnish

Chop onion and garlic - 3 secs speed 6
scrape down sides of bowl
Chop again 3 secs and scrape down sides of bowl again
Add Butter and oil and cook 3 mins -Varoma- Speed 1 removing MC and placing rice basket on top.
Add pumpkin, chicken noodle soup and water to bowl
Cook 16 mins 100 deg speed 1
Add stock and blitz 40 secs speed 7
Add chick peas and again blitz 10 secs speed 7
Serve with a dollop of cream or crumbled fetta, salt and pepper to taste and garnish with a sprig of parsley.
