Made this tonight, was very easy and tasty. Would leave out the sugar as pumpkin also added sweetness, had to add salt to lose sweetness. Adding some spices like cumin, paprika, curry etc all good ideas.

Made this tonight, would definitely reduce the sugar next time, but still very very tasty. Might add sweet potato next time and I used coconut cream instead.

I just made this delicious soup. I left out sugar and put in coconut milk instead of cream. Will definitely be making it again. Thanks for recipe.

This soup is great - very similar to one I make the old fashioned way, without a thermo! I left out the sugar, but the spinach was a nice addition. Next time I'd try without the cream as I usually find red lentils give soup a nice creaminess anyway.

Just made this and it's delish. I left out the brown sugar and swapped cream for natural Greek yoghurt and it's so tasty

This is exceptional, we all loved it. I reduced the sugar to 30g and used rapadura sugar. I also added a teaspoon of curry powder when doing the onion. Sooo delicious and I'll definitely be making it many more times, thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)

Hey Misok, I tried your  pumpkin etc soup tonight cos I happened to have the ingredients...found the thought of so much brown sugar a bit odd but relented and put in about a tablespoon, I think. Didn't have cream so added some light Philly, and clearly didn't do the final spin properly cos the baby spinach remained whole. Actually looked good  Husband's responses included - flavorsome; delicious; I'd have that again! Mine included - it's a bit weird; sort of sweet and nutty; and, yeah, I'd probably have that again, too! So, thanks. We'll probably have that again!
