Veggie Alphabet Soup
- 1 --- onion, Quatered
- 1 clove garlic
- 5 gram olive oil
- 5 sticks Celery, Chopped
- 2 carrots, Chopped
- 1 potato, Chopped
- 1 scoop Beans, Frozen fine
- 1 scoop peas, Frozen fine
- 1 can Tomatoes diced
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 scoops Alphabet Pasta, M/C
- to taste Salt & Pepper
Boiling Hot Water as needed as in Description
- 2 litres hot water

- Add onion (quartered) and garlic to "Closed lid" Sp 5/3sec
scrape "Closed lid"
Add oil and saute 3min/100°C/Sp1
Add Veggies
Scrape "Closed lid"
Add 1 heaped teaspoon of chicken stock powered, herbs and salt
Fill to the 1.5L mark of the "Closed lid" with hot water
Add tinned Tomatoes
Cook for 15min/100°C/sp2
When finished blitz Sp6/15sec
Fill to the Max mark of the "Closed lid" with more hot water
Add 2 measuring cups of Alphabet pasta and stir through with spoon
Cook for a further 15min/65°C/sp2.5
This recipe is good to hide veggies from the fussy kids 👍
This is a very thick soup. Serve with bread and butter

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
