- 2 bananas, Very ripe
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 50 g raw sugar
- 50 g brown sugar
- 50 g walnut kernels
- 1 egg
- 130 g Self Raising Flour

1. Prehat oven to 180C.
2. Add bananas (in chunks) to TM Bowl, followed by the golden syrup and then sugars. Mix Speed 2, 20sec.
3. Add walnuts, egg and flour. Mix Speed 4, 20sec. If needed, scrape down sides and mix for another 5sec on Speed 4.
4. Place the misture into a prepared loaf tin (small one works best) Bake approx 35min or until an inserted skewer comes out clean.
Tip
You can also make this into muffins, the baking time will be a little less.
Having trouble getting all the batter out of the TM bowl? Scrape out as much as possible and then whizz on turbo for 2 seconds to clean off the blades.

Usually double the recipe. Drop sugars to 35g each with no problems. Easy quick way to use up those brown bananas.

Thank you for a super easy tasty banana cake. It got demolished in one sitting! I've also made this for school lunchbox muffins substitute the walnuts for dates - blitz the dates first.
