Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 regular oven.
    Grease/line oven trays.

    1. Place all the ingredients in the order listed and blend 30-40secs/sp4, until mixture comes together as a dough.

    2. Place the dough onto a lightly floured bench and using a floured rolling pin, roll to 5mm thickness.

    3. Using a 6mm round cutter, cut out circles and place on the prepared tray, about 3cm apart. Prick the top of the biscuits twice with a fork.

    4. Re-roll any off cuts to use up the dough.

    5. Bake 18-20mins or until the biscuits are golden around the edges.

    6. Cool on the tray/s.

    7. Place into an airtight container to store

Tip

These are a definite favourite here.

Delicious with a generous splat of good butter, but also delicious with your favourite cheese. If you intend to make these as crackers for cheese only, I would consider reducing the sugar some what.
if you only have salted butter on hand, just leave out the extra 1/2t salt 😉

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

You've done it again Monica. These are delicious and so easy to make. I made a double batch, made them a little smaller and cooked them for about 15 minutes. Perfect!
