Ingredients

Vanilla frozen yogurt

  • 1kg Greek-style natural yoghurt
  • 200 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 180 g thickened cream
  • mixed berries, To serve
  • honey, To serve
  • jam of choice, To serve

Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. 1. Place a Muslim or Chux cloth in a sieve and place in a bowl to allow yogurt to drain. Place in the fridge overnight. See notes.

    2. The next day, whip the cream
    15-20 seconds until soft peaks form. Set aside.

    3. Tip the drained yogurt into the Closed lid"Closed lid"
    Keep the liquid to use in place of water in bread making, or simply discard.

    4. Blend the milk, yogurt and vanilla
    1minute/sp4. Scrape.

    6. Return the whipped cream to the bowl and blend 20secs/sp3/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" . Scrape and lightly re-blend if necessary.

    7. Place in a suitable sized container, cover with clingfilm and place in the freezer overnight.

    8. Take out 15-20mins before serving with the suggestions listed above.

Tip

So easy and delicious! Serve in a bowl or cone as is.. or top with all/some of the toppings suggested.

You can use the whey from the drained yogurt for baking or simply discard.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
