Recipe's preparation

  1. Combine the butter, sugar, eggs in the thermomix bowl on speed 4.Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Closed lid"Closed lid" .
  2. Slowly add the flour until combined Speed 4 Closed lid"Closed lid" Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" .
  3. Bring together on a chopping board or work bench and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  4. roll out into desired tart case, cook in an oven at 160°C for 20 minutes.

Tip

Use an egg yolk to seal the pastry stopping the base from becoming soggy .

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.     This recipe is 👏 awesome ,quick , easy , went down a treat when I made the apple 🍎 pie definitely a stayer this one 👏 I used wholemeal flour just for some added crunch
