  • 20 g Chai Seeds
  • 1 tsp Baking powder (gluten free)
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 level tsp cinnamon
  • 1 level tsp Nutmeg
  • 100 g Dairy Free Greek Yoghurt, Or any Dairy Free Milk

1 tsp Vanilla Paste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170 C. Grease a deep-sided loaf/bread tin (or 2 smaller loaf tins) and set a side.
  2. Place ripe bananas into mixing bowl (ripe bananas are best to give extra sweetness) and mash 5sec/speed 6
  3. Added Nuttlex or Coconut Butter, Pure Maple Syrup and mix 20 sec/speed 4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula if needed.
  4. Add Gluten Free Self Raising Flour, Coconut Flour, Chai Seeds, Baking Powder, Bicarbonate Soda, Vanilla Paste, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Dairy Free Greek Youghurt or Dairy Free Milk. Combine 20 sec/speed 4 scrape down sides of bowl with spatula and combine for 10 sec/speed 4 if necessary.
  5. Pour into prepared tin/s and bake for 45-55 min or until skewer inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool in tin for 20-30 min before turning out onto wire rack. Cool completely and store in airtight container.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

    I am confused. Was looking at this recipe, and it seems that a lot of the ingredients listed in the method are not listed in the ingredients.
