Recipe's preparation

    Dough
  1. Place all dough ingredients into mixing bowl

    Mix 30 seconds/ speed 3

8 Minutes Dough mode"Dough mode" (ensure you stay close to your machine when neading)

Wrap in a thermomat (Nice and tight) for 15-20 minutes. You should be able to see it rising at a good rate.

Knock dough back down and then weigh out 12 portions at approx 80g each.

Roll into balls - using the top of a teaspoon create a hole into each ball and place 1 tsp of Nutella into each and then close up by pinching it back together. Place pinched hole side down on your lined baking tray. (They will rise better if they are close to each other- around about 3-4cm apart) as they rise they should nearly be touching each other and then once baked will be connected.

Leave in a nice warm spot to proove for about 20 minutes

  2. Piping
  3. Place ingredients into mixing bowl and mix for 40 seconds/ speed 3

Pipe a cross onto each bun

Place into oven 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

    Delicious!

At a special request from my son "can you please search for Nutella hot cross buns" yours was one of the first I found. I'm not much of a baker but your instructions were clear and they turned out perfectly. Thank you.
