Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix for 10 seconds / speed 4.
Add flour and baking powder and mix 5 seconds / "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 4. Scrape down walls and repeat.
Add choc-chips and combine gently for 5-10 seconds / "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 2.
Pour into prepared baking tin and bake for about 30 minutes or until a skewer insetrted in the centre comes out clean. Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes and then lift out onto a wire rack and cool completely before dusting with icing sugar and cutting into squares using a sharp knife.
Tip
This was a recipe my young son used to bake first thing on a Sunday morning when he was about 10 years old (pre-Thermomix days). He's' 18 years old now and hasn't made it in a long time but he sure still loves eating it!!

Wow, these are great. Not the prettiest batch of brownies I’ve ever made, but they are delicious. So chewy & the texture is perfect. I used margarine as I had no butter, & not enough dark chocolate, so I used some dark & some milk chocolate, with white choc bits, as suggested by the poster. My family loved them. Thanks for a great recipe.
Nikkadilly
Easy, tasty but rather crumbly. Kept falling apart but it still tastes good
umm YUM is all I can say...thank you
First time making brownies.... yummmmo! Great recipe, I brought mine out after 25 minutes and perfect
I only have milk chocolate is this going to make it too sweet?
If baking in a tray like this, cut the baking time by 4mins otherwise they are ever so slightly over cooked (for a brownie)
Easy and soooooo good.
Crunchy on the outside and deliciously soft and chewy on the inside. Will definitely make again.
Very nice! Went down very well at the Christmas party. Thank you
These are delicious thank you. Have saved and will make again.
