Golden Syrup Dumpling-using blade cover
Tip
*The smaller you make the dumplings the more of them absorb the sauce while cooking,if they're made too large the middle may be too dry.
*Sauce is quite thin if you'd like it a bit thicker, remove dumplings & blade cover once cooked, place in thermoserver & cook for a further 5 min/Varoma temp/speed 5

The method was easy and a fun way to use the blade cover but the dumplings were quite tough and heavy (I was careful not to work them when shaping them). Still enjoyed by all with a dollop of double cream.
annejus:Glad you enjoyed them nice winter treat! Thanks for the tips
These were so easy, fluffy not doughy, and tasted great! I used 130g brown sugar (instead of raw) and increased the golden syrup to 100g
CJ81:That might be why you haven't heard of it...never in stock for long!

So I have been living under a rock.. I have not heard of this blade cover you speak of.. I just googled it and it looks amazing and of course "out of stock", so have asked for an email reminder. When I get my hands on that little baby this will be the first thing I make. This recipe looks so simple and quick and it's my husbands fav! Thanks for sharing .
