I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Put the butter, marshmallows and chocolate into the TM bowl.
- Chop it all up at speed 9 for 30 seconds. ( This will stop your Thermomix from dancing on the bench for the next step.
- Cook at 60 degrees for 7 mins at speed 7.
- Add your roasted nuts and mix on reverse speed 2 for 10 sec.
- Line a tray with rice paper and put the mixture on top then top with rice paper. Put in the fridge for at least 3 hours. This freezes really well too so you can bring out at a morning tea.
- You could repeat again using all the pink marshmallows if you like and add the pink to the white nougat so you have a white and pink layer stuck together with rice paper on the top and bottom and between the layers. Might be a great way to use up the spare 250g of marshmallows over that I have from separating the bags.

Tip
This can be really sticky so to clean bowl put hot water in your bowl and cook for 4 min at 80 degrees speed 4.

do you still have your Facebook page? Also does Trish the creator?
I haven't made this yet but would like to try it. Do you have to have the rice paper? is the texture similar to fudge or is it more gooey & thats why paper is needed?
Nice but doesn't taste like the traditional nougat.
got tips straight from the master herself! thanks Trish for taking the time - love your work. the nougat is delish!

This broke my blades..... On Xmas eve with an hour be for thermomix closed. I followed the recipe, but thermomix said the blades may have been strained over time.. Just be careful peeps
Made it but my tin was too big, next time i'll use a smaller tin. I think 20cm will be fine. The recipe was easy to follow, lovely to eat.
What size tin do you need?
This was really easy to make & really yummy to eat

I'm just wondering about making this for people for Christmas and whether it can be left out of the fridge for a few hours?? ie I'm giving it to them at a dinner at a restaurant so it'd be out of the fridge for a few hours? If not a good idea I'll make something else... I do looooooove this though. It's a to-die-for recipe
