Beef & Red Wine Casserole
- 1 medium onion, Red or Brown
- 2 clove garlic
- 50 g olive oil
- 500 g gravy beef cubed, or your choice of beef
- 2 tablespoon plain flour
- 400 g canned tomatoes, chopped
- 200 g red wine
- 2 tablespoon vege stock, or beef stock
- 2 tablespoon chopped thymme
- 150 g button mushrooms, halved

- Chop garlic & onion 3sec/sp7
- Add already sliced cabbage and olive oil & saute 3min/Var/sp1
- Scrape down sides
Add beef & cook for 10min/100deg/"Counter-clockwise operation" /sp1 - Throw the rest of the ingredients in 40min/100deg/"Counter-clockwise operation" /sp1 MC off replace with steaming basket.
- Once you hear the delightful thermo bell pour into Thermo server.
Great to have with rice or mash and some steamed green vegies.
Great to have the next day with a quick little salad on the side. Makes enough for 8 people
Beef & mushroom Red Wine Casserole
Tip
You could skip the first 10minutes & add all ingredients & cook for 50 minutes. The beetroot will still be firm.
The vegies are interchangable... its really just what you happen to have in your fridge and pantry

Was meant to have
100g sliced cabbage
80 g black lentils
1 diced carrot
1 diced beetroot
