Recipe's preparation

    Meat Balls
  1. Place Onion, Parsley and Garlic into TM bowl and chop 3sec/Speed 7.

Scrape down sides of the bowl and add in the Beef Cubes. Mince for 10sec/Sp6 (skip this step if using beef mince).

Add Veggie stock, Curry Powder, Tobasco sauce and Egg and blend for 2sec/Sp4.

Add Arrowroot flour and Cheese and blend for 10sec/sp8.

Roll the mixture into bowls and place in the Varoma dish and tray. Set aside. (Tip: it helps if you grease the varoma with spray oil to prevent the meat from sticking)

  2. Sauce
  3. Turn dial to Speed 7 and drop Garlic cloves through the lid. Chop for 2sec.

Add Sweet Potato, Chilli, Tomatoes, Parsley, Rosemary and Stock to the bowl and chop 5sec/Sp7.

Add Boiling water. Put Varoma in place and cook 20min/Varoma/Sp2.

When meatballs have finished cooking, set aside in Varoma or in the Thermoserver.

Add Arrowroot flour to sauce and cook 5min/90/Sp3.

Serve Meatballs and sauce with Rice, Pasta or Quinoa.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
