Goat Bhuna Ghost
- 2 brown onions, cut into quarters
- 1 bunches fresh coriander, leaves, stalks and roots cut into thirds
- 30 g vegetable oil
- 1 tsp black mustard seeds
- 5 cardamom pod, green, crushed
- 1 cinnamon quill
- 2 bay leaves, dried or fresh
- 800 g goat meat, diced, approx 4cm
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 10 g garlic paste
- 20 g ginger paste
- 400 g tin diced tomatoes

- Place onion and coriander into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 7. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.
Place oil into mixing bowl and heat 2 min/Varoma/speed 2.
Add mustard seeds, cardamom pods, cinnamon and bay leaves and cook 40 sec/Varoma/reverse/speed 1.
Add reserved onion mixture and cook 4 min/100°C/speed 1, without measuring cup.
Add lamb and cook 2 min/100°C/reverse/speed 1.
Add tomato paste, chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, salt, pepper, garlic paste and ginger paste, tin diced tomatoes and cook 8 min/100°C/reverse/speed stir,
Using slow cooker mode, set to 5.5 hours/90°C/reverse.
Serve with yoghurt, boiled rice, extra coriander and other sides of choice.
