- 1 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp Grnd Coriander
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 400 grams chicken
- 250 grams Pearl Cous Cous
- 1 red capsicum
- 1/2 Zuchhini
- 1/2 lemon zest
- 1 bunch parsley
- 60 grams currants
- 1 tbsp Vege Stock Concentrate
- 500 grams water
- 20 grams olive oil

Combine spices. Brush oil with some of the spices onto chicken
Place into varoma tray. Fill TM bowl with 700g water and steam for 20 mins/Varoma/speed 1
Once cooked, place into Thermoserver
Chop parsley and lemon zest 4 sec/speed 7
Add oil, capsicum and zuchhini. Saute 3min/100d/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1
Add cous cous, remaining spices, water, and stock. Cook 10min/90d/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1
Stir in currants, slice chicken and serve.

is the cous cous in the bowl with the water or steaming in varoma tray?
Sorry I'm a newbie.. But can I steam my chicken whilst my cous cous is being cooked?
thanks for this recipe! We love pearl cous cous. I added a small brown onion too. Tasted great!
I used a whole Zuchinni, and added half an onion and a Tblsp of tomato paste. Took longer at each stage to cook. Added spinach leaves and served. Yummo....our local cafe sells this cold as a salad! I think they might have a bit of honey in their's too. Will try that next time
This was yummy. We added chilli and curry powder and it was perfect.
