Ingredients
curry paste
- 1 garlic
- 2 onions
- 2 cm ginger
- 1 tbsp tumeric
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 2 tbsp Ground Coriander
- 1/2 tbsp Crushed chilli
- 3-4 Cardamon
- 3 cm cinnamon stick
- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 600-800 g diced beef or chicken
- 120 g water
- handful string beans, optional
- 20 g oil
- fresh coriander to garnish
- salt to taste
- 3-4 medium potatoes cut into quarters, optional

Place all spices including a tsp of salt, onion, garlic and ginger into TM bowl and chop 4 sec on speed 6. Scrape down.
Add oil and saute for 3 mins on varoma/speed 2.
Add tomatoes and chop 2 sec on speed 4 and cook 5 mins on Varoma/speed 2.
Add 1/2 water, "Closed lid" , set on 20 mins 100 on "Gentle stir setting" and "Counter-clockwise operation" .
Immediately drop meat while blade is "Counter-clockwise operation" thru measuring cup hole.
If adding potatoes and beans add the extra water. Set again on 20 mins at 100 on "Gentle stir setting" and "Counter-clockwise operation" adding potoes and beans thru measuring cup hole.
If not adding potatoes, set again on 20 mins at 100 "Gentle stir setting" and "Counter-clockwise operation" .

Tip
I have halved the amount of water originally given as I found it to be a bit too watery. I have also found the potatoes as times to be a bit hard, so you may need to had another 10 minutes to cooking time - depending on the size of the cut potatoes.
