Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I had cooked silverside in my slow cooker (8 hours) but used this recipe for the white sauce, including 300g cooking water from the slow cooker and 100g milk ... delicious!!! Will definitely use this recipe again. Thanks for sharing 😁
Cooked this tonight and my meat was quite dry I cooked for the set time any ideas why
So easy to make and the sauce is to die for
Myself, two toddlers and a Hubby who 'doesnt like silverside' loved this! Added garlic and used milk for the sauce. Will make again
This was lovely and simple to make
This is delicious. Thankyou for sharing!
I also added the garlic, a stick of celery and some parsley at the start. I then used the veg that's left over after straining the liquid in my mashed potato. I made the cheesy sauce using milk and it is so yum 👍
Didn't add the mustard and just used milk instead of cream and it was the best silverside and sauce Iv had.
Tried the Cheesy white sauce part of this recipe - it's really yum. Will try the full multilayed meal next time. Thanks for sharing😉
