- 30 grams olive oil, (Macadamia oil is a great option if available)
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp cornflour

- 1 carrot, Cut into thin strips
- 1/2 Capsicum, Cut into strips
- 200 g sliced mushrooms
- 200 g broccoli

- Add garlic, ginger and chilli (if using) into TM bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides.
Dissolve cornflour in 3tbsp of water.
Add soy sauce, olive oil, honey and cornflour. Mix together on 10 sec/speed 4.
Add beef and lemongrass stalk. Cook 10 min/100°/ "Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1 placing simmering basket instead of measuring cup onto mixing bowl lid.
Add carrot and cook 5 min/100°/ "Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1 placing simmering basket instead of measuring cup onto mixing bowl lid.
Add capsicum, mushrooms and broccoli and cook 5 min/100°/ "Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1 placing simmering basket instead of measuring cup onto mixing bowl lid.
Tip
Serve with steamed rice and vegetables.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). This was a tasty meal that was quick and easy to make. I didn't have all of the vegies listed so just swapped them for what I had available. Served with couscous, this will definitely be on my make again list
