Ingredients

  • 40 g Unsalted Cashews
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 900 g water
  • 130 g soy sauce
  • 25 g canola oil
  • 1 tbsp golden flaxseed meal
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Onion flakes.
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp Vegetable stock paste
  • 100 g rolled oats

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place Cashews and Walnuts in TM bowl and mill 8 secs/speed 7.

  2. Add all ingredients except oats to bowl, 8mins/Varoma/speed 1 (or until it comes to the boil).

  3. Meanwhile measure Rolled Oats into a large bowl. When mixture is cooked pour over oats and mix quickly with a wooden spoon. Cover and set aside to cool.

  4. Preheat oven to 180 C deg 

  5. Form mixture into 3 inch patties (Tupperware Hamburger Press is good for this) and place on baking trays lined with baking paper.

  6. Bake for 30 mins, flipping over after the first 20 mins.

    Serve with whole wheat buns or side salad.

    This smelled and tasted great but it did not form a paste at all just a mushy soupy thing...had to row it out...what did I do wrong ?
