Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I loved the filling and will use this as a way to use up odd leftover vegetables. Everyone ate them and I added tumeric too just because it's good for you! I was in a hurry so didn't make the pastry.
These are really lovely and I'll definitely make them again. I followed the advice from previous comments, cooking the veggies in the bowl and also adding a teaspoon of veggie stock. I doubled the recipe for the pastry but I still had heaps of veggie mix left, so would probably triple it next time. I found the pastry hard to work with. The best method for me was to roll a golf ball size of dough, measure a 11cm circle and then roll again to form an oval shape. One tablespoon of mixture was enough. This is time consuming, but the end result is worth it. Definitely make these when you have some time...
there is no need to use the varoma or steam basket. Once you've cut the veggies just cook them in the bowl on 100c for 15 mins speed 2 reverse.
this is good GF pastry! But I would double the recipe for the pastry as it is not nearly enough for the amount of filling mixture. I ended up using store bought pastry too like the last commenter to use up the leftover mixture.
I also put a bit of the EDC. Vege stock paste in the vege mix. Much more flavoursome!
I made mine much bigger to make them meal size.

Lovely.... they were quite little pasties with the spelt flour pastry (which I did struggle with a little) and I had so much filling left over so I used puff pastry and ended up another 24!! Lovely taste and quite easy Overall. Will make again but probably try a different pastry for easy factor.
