TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

The absolute best spag bol I've made/had.
I add carrot and zuccini after blitzing the onion (so that onion can be a little finer then other veggies).
Absolutely delicious. I have made it numerous times and now is on the weekly menu. I also add carrots and whatever other veg that I have in my fridge. The first time I made it I accidentally added the soup at step 5 but it didn't have any impact on the final result.
can the mince be added strainght to the bowl? I have misplaced the basket when moving.
5 star recipe! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So tasty and rich, love this!

In Step 5, do you put the MC back in the lid whiksy cooking?
was about to rate 1 star because I am still waiting for the step that allows me to drink the wine... but when I tasted how good it was I realised I was only hangry
Hi all
Just wondering what size can of tomatoes to use?
Any recipe that starts with Step 1: pour yourself a glass of red wine is surely going to be a winner!
Do not doubt it. This spag bol is one of if not THE tastiest spag bols we've ever tasted.
The only change I made was swapping out Worcester sauce for balsamic... same quantity, same step.
Will cook this regularly 👍
WOW,
This recipe just blewour families socks right off .. Our miss fussy 5yo ate it all up.
Love this recipe. Sometimes I just use two tins of tomatoes instead of the the soup if I want a lighter, less rich sauce. Sometimes chuck in some veg with the onion if I have some in the fridge or go without. Easy to change up the recipe as you like.
