Super easy and tastes fantastic. Thank you for the conversion the smell in the kitchen reminds me of bottling days at my Nan's.
tiffella75: I couldn't get my ezi sauce to freeze, for the life of me!
I freeze portions of ezy sauce in silicon muffin cups, so when I do another batch I just pop one out of the freezer, no wastage!
Tastes just like my mums stovetop version with Ezy sauce. I reduced the sugar to 80gms and used Pink Lady apples as that's all I had. Made 3.5 small bottles. Thanks for the conversion, now the sauce making tradition in my family can live on, as I was never going to make it on the stovetop.
very nice and makes alot. waiting for hubby to try this when he gets home. I found it a little sweet but it has a very nice flavour.
Thanks
You have just saved me hours of my life. I always made sauce the old way and thought I'd try your recipe. Better consistency, hours faster and the same great taste. Anything to save me de skinning tomatoes is a winner with me!
Thanks for my new tradition in sauce making!
Made this and was a hit. My boys were hooked on commercial sauce. No more!! I did tone down the sugar though. Thanks for the share.
I must remember to come back and check feedback more often
You can find Ezy Sauce in Foodland. My local Woollies and Coles don't stock it, but worth asking in case yours do.I'll make a point of weighing how much sauce it makes next batch (soon) and update the recipe.I contacted Cerebos to find out how long you can keep Ezy Sauce in the fridge for. Their reply "We recommend keeping it sealed in the fridge for no longer than 3-4 days".
Thanks for great feedback. Especially happy the recipe has converted your kids from store bought
Looking forward to making this. How much does it make?
