Ingredients

DIP

  • 400 g carrot, cut into approx 1cm thick slices
  • 125 g cream cheese, (low fat is fine)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 30 g parmesan
  • salt/pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation

    DIP
  1. Place 500g water in bowl.

     

    Place carrot (no need to peel) in basket and steam until soft approx 16min/varoma/Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"  Remove basket and discard water

     

    grate parmesan 5 sec/speed 6

     

    add garlic and chop 5 sec/speed 7

     

    add cooked carrot, cream cheese, cumin and salt/pepper to taste and mix 10 sec/speed 7.  Scrape down bowl and mix another 10 sec/speed 7 if needed.

     

    Cool in fridge and serve with vege sticks/biscuits/pita chips.

Tip

Cut pita bread and grill to serve with it.
