In used all plums (500g). Cut them up on speed 4 for 5 seconds, then cooked them as suggested for 8 mins, Varoma, reverse speed 2. I soaked the 2 Tablespoons of chia seeds in a little water plus the 2 Tablespoons of honey whilst the jam was cooking and added it in for the last minute. All worked out well and we ate it layered with a chia pudding for breakfast. Yum - thanks for the guidelines.

I'm not sure what the original poster meant the temperature setting to be, but I looked at a jam recipe in the Thermomix Cookbook to choose mine. I'm saving it here in case I want to make it again. Speed 1 reverse on Varoma

Hi, this looks really easy and extra super quick: are there any steps missing? Most jams seem to need to be cooked? I'm keen to give it a go but as a beginner I'm worried about too many fails (husband is still skeptical on how much he's spent on this machine, hee hee)
