Just finished cooking and tastes amazing!Smile I didn’t add any castor sugar and is plenty sweet enough I think without it. Also i diced the pears not just quartered. Still ended up putting it on for an extra minute speed 2.5 No counter-clockwise operation"No counter-clockwise operation" (NOT REVERSE) to make the chunks of pear a little smaller. Makes a huge amount!

Thanks for a wonderful, tasty recipe Cheryl! I absolutely love it & will be making it forever more now. It's great with cheese & biscuits or a spoonful along side chops or steak. YUMMO, one of my favourites!

Everyone should make this! A great addition to cheese hampers or to serve with Christmas meats. A good all-rounder.

Awesome! Love the colour, the smell of it cooking, the texture & the taste. the recipe says chopped pears & I found that I didn't chop them small enough so at the end I did 1min on sp2 & the chunks are now perfect. Will definitely make this for gifts & fundraisers too.

Hi, I am new to Thermomix and have just made this chutney and would like to know if the pear should still be in large pieces. The recipe says cored and quartered.

    Many thanks
