Ingredients
- 1 kg chestnuts, boiled and peeled
- 1 kg mushrooms, sliced
- 15 mls Olive Oil
- 2 onions, cut in pieces
- 6 celery sticks, cut in pieces
- 4 tablespoons chicken stock paste
- 2 litres water, (or the max that will fit, which ever is the lesser)
- 1 Thyme, to taste
- parsley, to taste

1. Prepare the chestnuts and set aside
2. Place onions and oil in thermomix bowl and saute 3mins/var/spd 2
3. Add mushrooms and celery and saute another 2 mins/varoma/speed 1
4. Put the remainder of the ingredients (chestnuts, stock and herbs) in the bowl and cook 30 mins/varoma/speed 1
5. Puree the soup - 1 min/speed 8 or until soup is smooth and creamy

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
