  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 80 g Spring Onion/Shallots, trimmed and roughly chopped
  • 1cm piece ginger, peeled
  • 15 g cooking oil
  • 1 piece chicken breast fillet, about 100g thinly sliced
  • 2 can 420g creamed corn
  • 2 tbsp chicken stock
  • 900 g boiled water
  • 20 g tamari or soy sauce
  • 2 heaped tsp corn starch mixed with 1/2 MC water, dissolved in 50g water
  • 2 egg whites, mixed with 2tbspns water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place garlic, spring onions and garlic in TM bowl and chop it for 5 sec on speed 6.  Scrape down bowl.

     

    Add oil and saute for 2 mins at 100 degree on speed 1

     

    Add chicken and cook for 2 mins at 100 degree Gentle stir setting & Counter-clockwise operation

     

    Add creamed corn, chicken stock, boiled water and tamari and cook for  8 mins at 100 degree on speed 1.

     

    Set 3 more minutes at 100 degree speed 1, slowly add corn starch mixture through opening then the egg white mixture.

     

     

     

Tip

can be vegetarian soup, just omit chicken and chicken stock

    I used 2 bottom half of shallots, and sauted in seaseme oil for authentic chinese flavour and it was PERFECT!!!!  Thanks

    ps i think there is a typo in first direction it says garlic 2 times but i think it meant ginger on one tmrc_emoticons.)

    Not the best tmrc_emoticons.(  All I could taste was the spring onions and I only used 45g. Is the spring onion weight correct??
