Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh dill, leaves only
- 1 brown onion, halved
- 30 gram Extra Virgin Oil
- 3 carrots, sliced 3mm thick
- 2 celery stalks, sliced 3mm thick
- 400 grams potatoes, cubed
- 400 grams chicken thigh fillet, diced
- 2 tablespoon Thermomix stock paste
- 1100 gram water
- 250 gram Sour Cream Light

Cut roots/stem of dill and place leaves into the bowl, chop 5sec/Sp6.
Set aside, do not clean bowl
Add onion, chop 5sec/Sp6, add oil and cook 5min/Varoma/Sp2
Place the potatoes into the Varoma dish, carrots and celery onto the Varoma tray and the chicken into the basket
Add the water, stock and basket into the bowl, cook 20mins/Varoma/Sp 2. Place Varoma on top of bowl.
Check the chicken and break up pieces that have stuck together during cooking with your spatula. Cook 5min/Varoma/Sp2
Place the vegetable and the chicken into the thermo server, add the sour cream to the bowl and dill that was set aside. Mix for 20 sec/Sp 3
Place the chicken and vegetables into a bowl and pour over the soup. serve with fresh sprigs of dill.
Tip
If you want to bulk up the dish you can add pasta and cook it once you have placed the veges and chicken into the Thermosever for the required time suggested on pasta packet. i not add more than 200 gr pasta
Rice or vermicelli noodles would also make a good addition

Soup was delicious! I remember my grandmother making this for the whole family, we would sit in the lounge room on Christmas Eve as we were all served a small bowl. She added pasta shells to hers! Hubby loved this recipee too!
