Ooh Lordy. These scones were so easy (as is everything in the Thermo) and so damn delicious. Thumbs up from the boys at smoko time.
Absolutely delicious! Added some zucchini after removing the butter, chopped it, then cooked it with the ham. Like other, I didn't add the evoo as there was butter left in the bowl. Had to add a little more flour due to the zucchini. Beautiful and fluffy. Kids loved them, as did I. Will keep this recipe for use again and again.
Delicious and perfect every time
I made these but I think I rolled them too thin because they didn't rise well but still yummy and not dense. Will definitely try again. Kids thought they were pretty good.
hi made these but had no bacon so just made them as cheese scones added teaspoon mustard and 2/3 cup of sour cream i find the sour cream really helps them rise they were delicous thanks
Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I have only had my thermo a couple of days and never made scones before as I've also been too nervous. These were perfect, so easy and so delicious!! I did add some Parmesan but otherwise followed directions exact
Really light and fluffy ,might add some parmesan cheese in next time for a different flavour but a yummy recipe !
Really tasty. I did top the scones with some hot salami when cooking. Very light and delicious
These were so tasty and easy to make. Will certainly make these again.
not sure what i did wrong but mine were quite heavy and didnt rise very much...if at all. Still very tasty though, will definately try them again
