Recipe's preparation

    gourmet crackers
  1. Milk 250 gm
    Brown Sugar (packed) 50gm
    Sour Cream 60gm
    Plain Flour 75gm
    wholemeal flour 75gm (optional or use plain )
    Dried Apricots (finely chopped ) or any dried fruit you choose
    Baking Soda 1 tsp
    Rolled Oats 42gm
    Sunflower Seeds 40gm
    Nuts of choice 30gm
    Tumeric 1/2 tsp
    Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
    Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
    Dried Rosemary or Cummin Seeds 1 tsp
    Salt (pinch)
    Pepper (optional pinch)
  2. 1. Prepare the dry ingred

    Add plain white flour 75gms
    Wholemeal Flour 75gms
    Baking Soda 1 tsp
    Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
    Nutmeg 1/4 tsp
    Salt 1/4 tsp
    Rosemary 0R Cummin Seeds OR Poppy Seeds 1 tsp
    Mix 5 sec /sp 3 set aside

    2. PREPARE THE SEEDS & NUTS
    Put in Thermo Bowl

    Add Oats 42 gm
    Sunflower Seeds 40gm
    Nuts 30gm

    PULSE ON TURBO 1 sec at a time 2-3 times untill roughly chopped

    set aside with dry ingred

    3. COMBINE WET INGREDIENTS

    Milk 250 gms
    Brown Sugar 50gm
    Sour Cream 60 gm

    mix 10 sec speed 3 untill smooth

    4. COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS

    Add the prepared dry ingred
    chopped oats , nuts , Rosemary & seeds
    as well as the dried apricots or fruit of choice
    MIX 10-15 SEC / REVERSE / SPEED 2.5 UNTILL COMBINED use spatula if needed to loosen bottom an make sure an even mix

    5. CHECK CONSISTENCY

    make sure well combined scrape sides of bowl an mix again
    5 SEC / REVERSE / SPEED 2.5

    6. BAKE 180 C (350f)
    spread evenly between parchment paper an bake 15-20 mins then cut into cracker shape when warm
    OR
    BAKE IN TIN THEN WHEN COLD FREEZE TILL SEMI FROZEN THEN REMOVE AN SLICE TO THE THICKNESS YOU DESIRE BEFORE IT DEFROSTS EASIER TO SLICE

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
