I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add diced chicken, cheese, breadcrumbs, spinach and stock to the TM bowl. Mix for 12 seconds on speed 6 until chicken is minced and all the ingredients are well combined.

Cut pastry sheets in half longways (will end up with 6 strips).

Split chicken mixture between each strip and spread out in the middle.

Roll and cut each strip into mini sausage rolls (4-6 pieces).

Brush with milk.  Sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using). Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Tip

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:1373:]]for a "greener" filling, make your handfuls of baby spinach large.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

My thermo couldnt mix this all together? I tried assisting with the tool but it just kept revving with no movement. Too thick I had to mix a lot by hand. But in the oven now so hopefully tastes good !

    Liz Zak: Hi Liz,
    I love this idea!
when you take them from freezer (I'm assuming they are not cooked at all) & put in the oven frozen. How long do you cook them for & what temperature?
Your advice would be great. Cheers Lucinda

Maida:Panko breadcrumbs are too dry (normally used for coating foods), use fresh bread for crumbs, they will make it moist
