Place all ingredients in blender on speed 6-7 For 30-40 secs. Increase to speed 9 if you are wanting a smoother ball. You could also increase mixing time.
Alternative to having chia seeds in balls is to roll them in it at the end.

I added half a cup of protein powder and half a cup of salted pistachios instead of the cashews (with 1 cup of macadamias and 1 cup of dates), then 1 heaped spoonfull of Dutch cocoa powder and 1 heaped spoonful of ground coffee beans instead of the cacao. Absolutely delicious. My husband takes them hunting. Makes 16 balls.
