Immune booster gummies

  • 80 grams gelatin, I use Nutra Organics beef gelatin powder
  • 250 grams filtered water
  • 250 grams lemon juice
  • 10 leaves kawa kawa
  • 40 grams Raw Honey
  • 20 grams Vitamin C Powder

Recipe's preparation

    Kawakawa Tea
  1. Place washed kawakawa leaves in a bowl and pour 250mls boiling water over them, set aside to steep for 10mins. Pour tea without leaves into a dish.
  2. Pour kawakawa tea and all other ingredients apart from vitamin C into mixing bowl and cook 5mins / 100deg / speed 2 without measuring cup.
  3. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula and cook for a further 1 min / 80deg / speed 2.
  4. Add vitamin C and Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" for 20 secs to combine.
  5. Scrape down sides and pour into silicone moulds or a flat rectangle/square glass dish. Place into fridge to set for approx 1 hour. Remove gummies / slice gummies into small portions and place into a sealable glass jar.

Tip

Depending on how firm you like your gummies you can either reduce the amount of liquid or increase the amount of gelatin.
