I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
line a tray with baking paper and place bacon
put tray in oven for approx 30mins until bacon is crisp & dark
take tray out of the oven & put bacon between 2 layers of paper towel to remove all excess oil and leave to cool
once bacon is cooled, place in Thermomix bowl - 5 seconds speed 9
add salt & pepper - 8 seconds, speed 9
put bacon salt in to sealed glass jars and keep REFRIDGERATED
preheat oven 220 C

MUST be kept in the fridge!!!

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Has anyone used the rind too if it's crunchy enough? I'm going to try it!!
Also cooked it in my multi oven/airfryer and 30mins was a bit too long for bottom shelf! Heads up 😊

How long will it keep in the fridge?
mine also looks less salty than yours, I have about less than half the bacon, so I also halved the salt.
Do I add more salt? It's pretty salty
